Solid hardwood, 3/4 inch thick, milled tongue and groove on all four sides. One piece of wood the whole way through — it can be sanded and refinished many times over its life.

White oak reads cooler and tighter-grained; red oak is warmer with a pink cast and a busier figure. Both come in every width from 1 1/2 inch strip to 11 inch plank, in plain sawn, rift and quartered, quarter sawn and rift sawn, across every grade from Select & Better through #3 Common.

Nail or staple down over an approved wood subfloor. Solid wood is not rated below grade.
