Product Specs
Solid white oak, 11 inches wide and 3/4 inch thick, milled tongue and groove on all four sides and kiln dried before it ships.
Cut straight through the log in the European manner, so a single plank carries cathedral, rift and quartered grain at once. Knots and mineral streaks are part of the look, not a defect in it.
Character grade leaves the knots and colour swing in. Expect a lively floor with plenty of movement between boards.
It ships unfinished, so the stain and sheen are decided on site after the floor is down and sanded — the only way to match an existing floor exactly.
Random lengths run 2 to 10 feet. Each box covers 25 square feet.
Nail or staple down over an approved wood subfloor. Solid wood is not rated for below-grade installation.
