Product Specs
Solid white oak, 7 inches wide and 3/4 inch thick, milled tongue and groove on all four sides and kiln dried before it ships.
Plain sawn through the log, which gives the cathedral arches most people picture when they picture oak. It is the most economical way to buy white oak and the reason it has floored American houses for a century.
Select & Better grade keeps colour consistent and leaves out most knots and mineral streak, so the floor reads as one field rather than a patchwork.
It ships unfinished, so the stain and sheen are decided on site after the floor is down and sanded — the only way to match an existing floor exactly.
Random lengths run 1 to 8 feet. Each box covers 17.5 square feet.
Nail or staple down over an approved wood subfloor. Solid wood is not rated for below-grade installation.
